A campaign is one offer you sell, for example "Auto insurance, Georgia". Everything else, such as targets, sources and numbers, connects to a campaign.
Creating a campaign
Open Campaigns and click New campaign. Fill in:
- Name: what you see in lists and reports.
- Key: a short URL slug using lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores. You cannot change it after creating the campaign.
- Type: Calls or Leads (ping / post). You cannot change it after creating the campaign.
- Vertical: an optional label such as insurance or solar.
- Status: new campaigns start as paused. Set it to active when you want traffic.
Call campaign settings
These apply to Calls campaigns only.
- Auction deadline (ms, 5000 or less): how long the platform waits for buyers' bids when a call is pinged.
- Failover budget (s): how long after the call arrives the platform may keep trying other buyers if the first ones do not pick up. See Ring timeout, caps and failover.
- Bid TTL (s): how long a winning bid stays valid.
- Accept $0 bids: route the call even when the buyer bids zero, and settle the payout later.
- Require state: when on, a call whose caller state cannot be worked out is turned away. When off, it can still route.
Settings for both types
- Dupe window (hours) and Dupe action: see Duplicates and daily caps.
- Daily cap: the most conversions per day. Leave blank for no cap.
The campaign page
Click a campaign to open its page. It shows the settings above and has an Edit button. It also holds:
- Ping tree: which targets get calls, in what order. See Routing and the ping tree.
- Sources: which publishers send traffic and what you pay them.
- Numbers: the tracking numbers on this campaign.
- Integration details you give to publishers. See Ping URLs and the spec sheet.
Leads campaigns show a Lead buyers list instead of a ping tree. See Lead buyers.
A paused campaign refuses traffic. Pause a campaign any time to stop it without deleting anything.
