Two campaign settings protect your buyers from repeat callers and limit daily volume.
Duplicate protection
On the campaign form, set:
- Dupe window (hours): how far back to look for the same caller. The default is 24 hours.
- Dupe action: block or route_flag.
With block, a caller who already reached the campaign inside the window is refused, and the publisher sees "duplicate_caller". With route_flag, the call still routes but is flagged as a duplicate in your reports.
For leads campaigns the same window applies, and the match is on the lead's phone number. In block mode a repeat lead is rejected before any buyer is contacted. With route_flag the lead goes through and shows a dup tag on the Leads page. See Ping, post and direct.
Daily cap
Daily cap is the number of conversions the campaign accepts per day. For calls it counts calls; for leads it counts sold leads. When the cap is reached, new pings are refused with "daily_cap" until the next day. Leave the field blank for no cap.
Where to change them
- Open Campaigns.
- Click the campaign, then Edit.
- Change Dupe window (hours), Dupe action or Daily cap (blank = none).
- Click Save.
The campaign page shows the current values.
Other caps
Caps also exist on targets (Concurrency cap) and publishers (Rate cap (calls/min)). See Ring timeout, caps and failover and Publishers and sources.
