Several limits can turn traffic away on purpose. Here is how to spot each one and what to change.
Duplicate caller
Publishers see "duplicate_caller" (calls) or "duplicate" (leads) when the same caller or lead phone already reached the campaign inside the Dupe window.
To change it:
- Open the campaign and click Edit.
- Shorten Dupe window (hours), or change Dupe action from block to route_flag so duplicates still route but are flagged.
- Click Save.
Leads flagged this way show dup on the Leads page. See Duplicates and daily caps.
Campaign daily cap reached
Publishers see "daily_cap" and the campaign refuses new traffic until the next day. To allow more, open the campaign, click Edit, raise Daily cap (blank = none) or clear it, then Save.
Publisher rate cap
If a publisher sends too many pings per minute, extra pings are refused as rate limited and the publisher is asked to retry after the interval. Raise their Rate cap (calls/min) under Publishers, then Edit.
Target concurrency cap
If a buyer is at their Concurrency cap, new calls skip that target and go to the next buyer. If nobody else is available the call has no buyer. Raise the cap on the target if the buyer can take more calls at once. See Ring timeout, caps and failover.
How to confirm which cap it was
- The Ping funnel on the Dashboard shows pings by outcome.
- In Leads, the Ping log tab shows the outcome and reason for each ping.
- Bid insights shows whether a target was pinged at all.
It is not the cap
If none of these apply, see Why a call didn't route.
