The Setup assistant sets things up for you from plain English or a buyer's own documentation. Describe a campaign or a publisher in a few sentences, or paste a buyer's API doc (or a link to it), and it drafts the setup for you to check. Nothing is saved until you click Create as paused.
What it can set up
Open Setup assistant in the menu and choose under What should it set up?:
- Campaign from a brief: the campaign, its buyers and targets, and the routing (tiers and weights). For example: "Medicare inbound for Florida and Georgia. Harbor Health pings us at their RTB URL and pays $40 for calls over 120 seconds; Blue Oak takes straight transfers at $30 as backup. Cap Harbor at 100 calls a day."
- Call buyer from a doc: a buyer and its targets, read from the buyer's RTB or ping spec, including the ping URL, the response mapping and the accept rule.
- Lead buyer from a doc: a buyer and its lead buyer endpoint, with the full spec: fields, formats and how to read the reply.
- Publisher from a brief: the publisher, a source and its payout terms on the campaign you pick. It ends with a guide link you can send the publisher.
Reviewing the draft
The draft is checked with the same rules as the normal forms. Before you create anything you see:
- What was set: what it filled in and why.
- Please check: things the doc or brief did not settle, which a person must decide.
- Fix these problems before creating: anything that would fail validation. Edit the draft and click Re-check. Create as paused stays off until there are no problems.
What it never does
- It never fills in API keys, tokens or passwords. Add those yourself after creating.
- It never switches anything on. Everything is created paused, so no traffic moves until you review it in Campaigns, Targets or Lead buyers and turn it on.
- It only uses facts from what you gave it. It does not invent URLs, prices or field names.
Limits
Each account has a number of assistant runs per day, shown on the page. If the assistant is not available on your account, the page says so.
